Remodel and Standalone Trade Permits
A guide to interior remodels and standalone mechanical, electrical and plumbing trade permits. A standalone trade permit is the lighter path: it skips several of the steps below and does not carry the same plan review, since the trades generally know what is required. Treat the steps below as the remodel path, with trade permits as a streamlined version of it.
